Animal
Kingdon Villas
A Disney Vacation Club Resort

Many colorful lanterns
greet guests as they arrive at the Kidani Village.
Kidani Village, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, offers guests African-inspired details and home-like accommodations and amenities. Many vacation villas will also feature sweeping views of an expanded savanna inhabited by a variety of African animals.
Kidani Village includes Sanaa, a table-service restaurant celebrating African-inspired cuisine with an Indian touch; Samawati Springs Pool, a themed pool area; Uwanja Camp, a themed water-play area; Survival of the Fittest, a fitness center; Johari Treasures, a merchandise shop, and more. Kidani Village offers 340 two-bedroom equivalent vacation villas, for a total of 449 two-bedroom equivalent accommodations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas.
Jambo House, which includes 109 remodeled two-bedroom equivalent accommodations on the fifth and sixth floors of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, opened in July 2007.

The chandeliers in
the main lobby are just as unique as those found in Jambo
House.

Johari Treasures
offers a number of African gifts along with grab-n-go food
items to take to your room.

From most room
balconies--as well as from viewing areas along the
savanna--guests get up close
and personal with wildlife, like this beautiful giraffe.

During our visit to
tour a villa, several zebras were also grazing on the savanna.

Like most Walt
Disney World resorts, you'll find a unique pool bar at Kidani
Village.

The pool area
features several splash areas.

Samawati Trading
Company's water tower promises a drenching to any interested
guests!

Kidani Village
features a zero-entry pool, called Samawati Springs. It's
similar to Uzima Springs Pool at Jambo House,
only a bit smaller. Guests staying at Kidani Village are
welcome to use Uzima Springs Pool in addition to Samawati.

This photo shows a small
portion of the living area in a one-bedroom villa.

Note the festive,
Afrocentric bedspread.

The kitchen features
granite-top counters along with unique plates, cups and
saucers.

The granite counters
continue in the bathroom.

The Lion King motif in the
tub-shower area is a very nice touch.
