Bongos Cuban Cafe
(photos below)
This very festive combo restaurant-dance club opened in
Downtown Disney West Side in 1997. The building’s Old Havana
architecture is dominated by a massive adobe pineapple
structure—so you can’t miss the place! At Bongos, you can
groove to tantalizing Latin rhythms with the restaurant’s
state of the art sound system.
The 550-seat family restaurant offers spacious
surroundings that will allow you to be a conga line leader or
a quiet spectator. Additionally, you can enjoy Cuban cuisine
from plantains to pork and chicken dishes to scrumptious
desserts—including several different varieties of flan.
You’ll feast on the delicious Cubano (a Cuban sandwich),
pollo asado (roast chicken) and paella de mariscos (seafood
paella). From 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., you can save a few
bucks by enjoying delicious Cuban sandwiches—but you’ll
miss the festive atmosphere of this establishment, created by
authentic, live Latin music, including vocalists and bands. We
will caution you, however: if you want to enjoy lots of
conversation with your party, Bongos may not be the best
environment in the evening, as the live entertainment, while
HOT, is loud!
This vibrant restaurant is a mosaic of colors and
flavors set against infectious music and a celebratory spirit.
You’ll feel transported to
