Disney-MGM Studios News & Rumors

NEMO FOUND AT DISNEY WORLD! -- Ashlyn Walsh, 8, and Braden Walsh, 3, of Tulsa, Okla., "found" the newest Disney theme park character -- Nemo -- Monday, June 2, during a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The pint-sized pair shared some "fin time" with the larger-than-life star of "Finding Nemo," the Disney/Pixar film that hooked the No. 1 spot at the box office with an opening weekend of $70.4 million -- the biggest debut ever for an animated feature. The new character makes several appearances near the Magic Kingdom, greeting guests near Seven Seas Lagoon. The now-famous clownfish also makes an appearance each day inside the Magic Kingdom as he glides down Main Street, U.S.A., prior to the parade. The newest Disney theme park character began daily meet-and-greets with guests over the weekend.

Whatever Happened to This Commercial?

Last winter, this crew was seen along Mickey Avenue filming what was supposed to have been a "commercial" to convey to guests Disney's smoking policies within the parks.

The woman in the grey sweater and the boy in the blue jacket were guests who were pulled into the filming. The young man in yellow (with the weird sunglasses) was the Disney actor trying to convey the smoking policy message.
