The Enchanted Tiki Room

Located in Adventureland near the Swiss
Family Treehouse, The Enchanted Tiki Room was one of
Walt's ideas--first opening in Disneyland, then later at Walt
Disney World when the Florida Magic Kingdom opened. However,
in more recent times, the attraction has undergone some
changes--in the form of two famous birds. It seems that Iago
and Zazu have both purchased the show--though each thought he
was to be the new sole owner.
The squabble between the two begins outside
the attraction in the queue area, where a preshow performance
sets the stage for the antics to come. Iago and Zazu have both
just flown in to take possession of the show, when they meet
outside. After plenty of "bird" puns, the audience
is admitted to the show.
Inside, there are lots of Audio-Animatronics
birds who perform from perches hanging from the ceiling. Iago
and Zazu continue their squabble over who's show it is, when
Zazu offends the Tiki goddess, causing much excitement.
Finally, in the end the two birds agree to become partners in
the show.
This is a great, classic Disney attraction,
even with the veneer of modernization on it. Be sure to stop
