Located on Animal Kingdom's Discovery Island, Flame Tree
Barbecue is a counter service eatery which features,
well...barbecue! A very popular establishment, Flame Tree
carries a fairly eclectic menu--so your whole party is likely
to find something they like here.
The service area is a long, open-front building situated
just down from the entrance to It's Tough to be a Bug as
you're heading toward Dinoland, U.S.A. One of the biggest
drawbacks to this restaurant is the lack of indoor seating.
While outside dining sounds appealing, it's only as good as
the weather! And, in Florida (and in Animal Kingdom in
particular), the weather is often hot. Very hot. If you're the
type who likes to sit back and cool off during your meals in
the parks, then this might not be the best choice for you in
the heat of the summer.
The food here consistently receives good ratings from
