Harley-Davidson
(photos below)
The Harley-Davidson Motorcycle shop at
Downtown Disney is located on Pleasure Island next to Mannequin's
Dance Palace (in the location of the now-closed Changing
Attitudes shop). It was originally in the large building
next to the water where the Missing Link was located, but as
of 2006, this building was vacated and no new establishments
have opened there since the Pleasure
Island refurb began.
While you can't shop for the actual
motorcycles at this store, they do have a few on display that
you're welcome to have a close-up look at--you can even pose
for photos on them. What this does have is lots of
smaller merchandise--items such as tee-shirts (plenty of
tee-shirts!), beer mugs, wallets and leather goods, knapsacks,
assorted kitsch, and even a rack filled with squeaky
dog toys.
While Aronda isn't interested in motorcycles
at all, she found herself unexpectedly drawn to the wide
selection of unique items available here. The dog toys really
pulled her in, and she plans to pick up a few things for her
pooch in a future visit. If you're a Harley fan, though,
you'll have trouble leaving this store empty-handed!
