High Octane Refreshments

Just around the corner from the Studio Catering
Co. is a
full-service bar known as High Octane Refreshments. The name
comes from the fact that the popular Lights!
Motors! Action! extreme stunt show is nearby. (It's also
sometimes referred to as Studio Terrace Bar.)
This is actually one of two bars in Disney's Hollywood Studios, the
other being Tune-In Lounge, located in 50s Prime Time
Cafe. A
third, the Catwalk Bar upstairs at Hollywood
Brown Derby, was closed several years ago when Playhouse
Disney: Live on Stage opened in the Animation Courtyard.
This outdoor, walk-up bar is a great place to grab a drink
and take it "on the go" as you walk around the park.
Its close proximity to the Streets of America backlot area
makes it handy for a drink opportunity as you check out this
section of the park. During a recent visit to High Octane
Refreshments, Aronda overheard a Guest mention that the
margarita was tasty, to which the bartender replied that the
margaritas here were better than those at Epcot.
If you're touring Disney's Hollywood Studios and you realize that
you could use a drink, don't hesitate to stop by High Octane
Refreshments! Please note that the Disney Dining Experience
card is not honored here, though it is at the Tune-In
Lounge at 50s Prime Time Cafe.
