Indiana Jones Epic Stunt
Spectacular
(photos below)
Back in 1989 when
the Disney-MGM Studios opened its gates to the public, the
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show was ready to wow the
guests. Years later, despite the many openings and closings
and changes the Studios has seen, Indiana Jones still packs
the house with excited fans, all eager to see this dazzling
production in action!
If
you've seen the Indiana Jones movies, you've already done your
homework for this one. You'll see some of the action-packed
sequences from the films adapted to the live stage. You'll see
stunt action including both human-oriented work (fight scenes)
as well as mechanical action (such as a Jeep getting into a
little "fender bender" and an unfortunate encounter
with a fighter plane). There's even a chance for you to become
part of the show, as several "extras" are pulled
from the audience at the beginning of the show.
This
attraction offers FastPASS, with your ticket granting you
entry to a specific performance time. The theater is large,
and you may be able to walk in if you arrive 10-30 minutes
early for a show, but don't count on a seat at the last
minute. If in doubt, especially during peak attendance
periods, don't gamble--grab a FastPASS.
For
those who'd like an Indiana Jones souvenir, Disney has you
covered. There are two Indiana Jones-specific gift shops near
the attraction, including an outdoor area--both of which stock
Indiana Jones tee-shirts and similar items, as well as such
things as rubber snakes, toy rifles, and adventurer/safari
hats.
