The gift shop at Port Orleans French Quarter resort is known as Jackson Square Gifts & Desires. Named after the famous park in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter, this shop, like the shops surrounding the historic park in New Orleans, combines a cozy, down-home ambience with a cosmopolitan, sophisticated touch of class.

The shop can be accessed from the Port Orleans main lobby as well as from outside the building through a rear door that opens near the feature pool area. The layout of the shop is very open, with tidy racks and shelves spread around the fairly large space.

The stock here ranges from the "usual" Disney souvenirs, such as tee-shirts, character plush, and plenty of princess and Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise, to necessaries like health and beauty aids, light grocery items, and film. As with all resort gift shops, there is a line of Port Orleans-specific merchandise with the resort logo--tee-shirts, glassware, pins, and the like. Additionally, you'll find a line of New Orleans-inspired items as well, such as Mardi Gras masks, goblets, and books treating the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter.

Jackson Square is a terrific shop--be sure to stop by during your visit to PO-FQ, as you just may find the perfect gift for yourself or someone else!
