Min & Bill's Dockside Diner
A quick service eatery located in Disney's Hollywood
Studios, Min & Bill's Dockside Diner is a small ship docked at
the edge of Echo Lake! The wide gangplank leads to the ordering
area, and all seating is outdoors, at tables and benches set up in
the area nearby. We've never seen any smoke coming out of the tall
funnel atop this ship, so it looks like it's here to stay for a
while (it's been here for years now!). Also located on or
around Echo Lake is Dinosaur Gertie's
Ice Cream of Extinction as well as the immensely popular and
not-to-be-missed 50s Prime Time Cafe
(which is an attraction in and of itself!).
The food offerings
are minor, including a wiener wrapped in a pretzel, Chicken Caesar
Sandwich, and Italian Sausage. There are plenty of cold (and some
hot) drinks available here, including beer. Definitely not the place
to plan for a meal, but it is handy for a quick snack and as a place
to grab a cold beer on a hot day!
