Out of the Wild

In the back of Conservation Station at
Disney's Animal Kingdom is an "outdoor" store, just
across the way from Affection Section called Out of the Wild.
The shop has lots of aminal figurines and
plush--both Disney characters and animals such as you'll find
roaming about Animal Kingdom. Additionally, there are various
"nature" themed items for younger guests, as well as
tee-shirts and a small selection of items for adult visitors.
Of course, there are cold bottled drinks available here--a
great way to cool down on a HOT day at Animal Kingdom (and
aren't most days hot in DAK??!!).
This shop seems to be the replacement for
the one that used to be inside the building. You may recall
that several years ago there was a sprawling forest of racks
and freestanding shelves near the veterinary displays, but it
was removed, presumably to "clean up" the cluttered
look it caused.
A decent little shop in an out-of-the-way
area. A nice place to browse if you're not as interested in
the petting zoo as other members of your party!
