Refreshment Port
Close to the Canada Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase, Refreshment
Port is a longstanding counter service eatery, until recently
serving as Epcot's McDonald's french fry outlet. As of early 2010,
the fries are gone, replaced by a more appropriate menu, including a
number of Latin American offerings.
Refreshment Port was always a convenient spot to stop and grab a
quick drink or snack (if you liked fries) as you entered World
Showcase through the Rose Walk. Now, with the recent addition of the
more prominent Promenade
Refreshments just a few paces away, Refreshment Port seems to be
trying to become more of a "full-fledged" counter service
entity.
If you're into Latin foods, this may be a nice way to grab a
yummy snack as you begin a tour of World Showcase! In addition to
Latin items, the menu includes fried chicken sandwiches and fried
shrimp.
