Studio Catering Company
Photos below!
Located near the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie
Set Adventure, the Studio Catering Company is an open-air
counter service restaurant serving a somewhat eclectic menu
consisting mainly of sandwiches--one of which is fried
chicken! Not long ago, this restaurant was also known as the
"Flatbread Grill," though the flatbreads were short
lived here. A number of Mediterranean offerings were available
in the past; some of these continue in the current
menu. As with virtually all of Disney's counter service
eateries, the tea here is the less-than-perfect
"Peak" fountain type, available in both sweet and
unsweet, both kinds being rather poor substitutes for fresh
brewed iced tea!
The seating is in a large covered area--there
is no air conditioning available here. The shade coupled with
a number of large fans helps to keep the temperatures at a
decent level, but for those who prefer a climate-controlled
atmosphere to eat may wish to steer toward other eateries at
the Studios, such as the ABC
Commissary, Toy Story Pizza
Planet, or Backlot Express--all
of which have enclosed seating areas.
Just around the corner from Studio Catering
Company is High Octane
Refreshments, one of two full-service bars available on a
walk-up basis at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is a good place to
grab one of your favorite mixed drinks to enjoy with your
counter service meal.
