Swiss Family Treehouse
Photos below
This classic Magic Kingdom
attraction takes you on a walking (or should that be
"climbing") tour of the Robinson family's treehouse
from the Disney film Swiss Family Robinson. While it's
not an exciting thrill, it is an interesting way to have a
"live" look at classic Disney film up close and
personal. There are lots of stairs here (and no access for
those who can't comfortably climb stairs), but it's not so
daunting that the average person can't do it.
During your self-guided tour,
you'll check out the areas where the Robinsons ate, and
slept--you'll see their study, the children's rooms, and a few
of the clever contrivances they developed to make their lives
better. The large organ which they rescued from the shipwreck
plays the background music as you tour the tree.
The best part of the Treehouse
is the nice vantage points from which you'll be able to see
Adventureland from a whole new perspective. There's seldom a
wait to call on the Robinsons, and you can either hurry
through or pause to check out interesting scenery at your
pleasure.

any) attraction, store, restaurant, or whatever your plans
