Wolfgang Puck Express at the
Downtown Disney Marketplace is one of two locations, the other
one being at Downtown Disney Westside, adjacent to the
Wolfgang Puck table service restaurant. As the name implies,
this is a counter service eatery, but the food is fabulous,
the menu large (see below for links), and the prices
affordable.
The food here is very good
quality, and the variety is such that even a larger party with
different tastes should be able to find something for
everyone. Entrees include large salads, pizzas, pasta dishes,
sandwiches, and meat dishes. Side items are also available, so
those with larger appetites can add additional items as
desired.
The restaurant is set up as a
walk-through, with the order counter first, followed by the
drink station, then the seating area. Frequently, because the
food is prepared after it's ordered, you'll receive a number
to place on your table, and a server will bring your items out
to you, whether you're seated at an indoor table or in the
covered patio dining area outside.
A nice feature of this
restaurant is the free refill policy on the drinks here. The
soft drinks and iced tea can be refilled as often as you'd
like during your meal. The only drawback is that it can be
difficult to get to the fountain when there's a line of guests
ordering. This, however, is a minor inconvenience as compared
to the setup at the Earl of Sandwich nearby, in which the
refills are also free, but the iced tea must be requested at
the counter (although the soft drinks are accessible from the
dining room).
Wolfgang Puck offers discounts
for both Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members
